Current Projects
Illinois Science Policy Consortium
Founded to leverage the research expertise of Illinois universities - UIUC, Northwestern, UChicago and pool resources - an impact multiplier.
One-pager initiative:
Write one-page policy briefs - background scientific information for legislators on relevant issues being debated in the house. Handle requests from state lawmakers, agencies.
Grow Science communication
Enable students to better communicate and explain their research - workshops, writing challenges, one-pager requests.
Engage local legislators - understand their needs and equip them with the information and resources to implement effective policy.
IIT Technology Ambit
The mission
To catalyze discourse and awareness on science and technology in India - the techniques of research, core ideas behind engineering applications, the sparks of entrepreneurial innovation.
Monthly issues and weekly newsletters covering the best and brightest in the Indian STEM ecosystem.
The work
Co-founded the official pan-IIT magazine, funded by SRIC, IIT KGP, writing on science research, technology, and entrepreneurship to foster better conversation and awareness.
Led expansion to 10 IIT campuses; Managed editorial, growth, and design teams of 60 undergraduates on a daily basis.
Fulfilling journey of 3 years - from founding team writer, to chief editor, to president.
